FAQ
How will I receive my photos?
A.Photos will be delivered to your email. It will provide you a link to your online gallery. In that email I will also include a PIN that will help access your photos. From there, you will be able to download your whole gallery!
How should we dress for our family session?
A.Neutrals are always the best when photographing on the beach. I know everyone loves to wear white but with our famous quartz sand here, people tend to blend in with the background. I highly suggest earthy tones and limit patterns when having a large group. Any pattern that is on the busier side will not photograph well.
What’s the best time to have a session?
A.Sunrise or sunset is the best time for a photoshoot. If it is possible, sunrise is ideal for beach shoots since there are no crowds and the beach is practically empty. Sometimes I even think the sky is prettier first thing in the morning. If not and you are more of the night owl kind of people sunset is just as pretty!
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
A.That is totally okay! I get it, it can be a little scary and uncomfortable to have a whole photoshoot. I promise to make this as friendly and comforting for you as possible. If I need to start cracking jokes I can! I am here to help guide you and create natural "poses" that feel comfortable to you.
Do you do destination photoshoots?
A.Yes! As long as all travel expenses are taken care of on your behalf, I am happy to travel where ever you need photos to be!
What is your editing style?
A.My editing style is very bright and colorful. I prefer to keep drastic changes very minimal. If a client asks to have a blemish removed or scarring, I am happy to do so. I would prefer not to make changes to a clients appearance. Everyone is beautiful and you should own that!
How long does it take you to edit?
A.Depending on the shoot it can be anywhere from 2-4 weeks to get your photos back. I will always tell you an estimated time after the shoot. However, I try to get them back to you sooner than I estimated.
How do I book with you?
A.You may reach out via email or by my phone. I will get back to you as soon as possible. Life gets busy sometimes but I will do my best to respond right away! Any questions you may have I am happy to discuss with you whether it is about location, pricing, or just your general needs from the shoot.
When is the best time to book a newborn shoot?
A.The best time is between seven and fourteen days old! Preferably a morning shoot when your baby is still sleepy.
